It is a Fine dining Restaurant and Lounge/niteclub, I am not sure about dancing but assume there would be some.

What is Mix at Mandalay Bay ?

That tower (THE Hotel) is shaped like an L, but both sides are the same size. One side is the restaurant and one side is the lounge. The best views are from the lounge side as the window faces directly towards the Luxor Pyramid and down the strip. I don%26#39;t think the views from the restaurant side are very good. I would only say they are good if you eat outside on the patio. Most of the tables against the windows are booths and you sit with your back to the window. The restaurant is expensive and they charge you for everything. 10 bucks for that bottle of water they pour you when you sit down. You would think water would be free, but they serve bottled water for 10 bucks a bottle. Some large tables had 4 or 5 bottles coming. That%26#39;s 40 or 50 bucks. We went to the Lounge side around 10PM. Only took a quick look, but no music was playing nor did I see an area for dancing. Mainly a big bar in the middle with lounge tables all around. There is a patio portion of the lounge with tables and couches.
