Casual Steakhouses..

Will be in Vegas 6/24-6/26. We are veteran Vegas travelers, but are looking for a good quality steakhouse with a definate casual atmosphere. Everything we have reviewed sounds wonderful, but to upscale in the dress dept. for what we need. Will be in shorts attire these few days, and want to celebrate a birthday at a steakhouse. Will have a car, and price is not the issue. Can anyone recommend a place to suit our needs? I have looked up Bob Taylor%26#39;s Original Ranch House, would appreciate any reviews on this place if available. We are also trying to stay away from the ';franchise'; spots..ie...Outback, etc....where do the locals go for a ultra casual, good dinner? Thanks...Laura

As long as u have your nose in the air, go to the expensive places and eat the same meat as ';';outback';'; at triple the price.

I recomend Yukon Grill, the steakhouse at Ariz. Charlies on Boulder Hwy. Steaks on par with higher price places. Noone would question you dress.

Billy Bob%26#39;s at Sam%26#39;s Town. FWIW I do not know of any steakhouses that would not let you in wearing shorts as long as you have a wallet in one of the pockets. Best in town is CC Steakhouse IMO.

Great meal at a dirt cheap price, the Ellis Island Sirloin special $4.95 10 oz Sirloin, rolls, soup or salad, choice of potato and garlic green beans.
