On most of the reviews I see that alot of people seem to think the Hard rock Hotel and the palms are not great places to stay. I%26#39;ve always heard they are the two trendy spots.. Is this not true?-thanks

They are for youngsters who want to be seen and show off assets, bodies, and b00b jobs.

Stayed at the Hard Rock last year and loved it. People complain that is far off the strip, which it is, but it wasn%26#39;t a big deal to us. We would take a cab to the strip or even walk and spend the night there, then come back to the HRH for late night partying...Pool was fantastic...

I went there for dinner in april and it seemed to be a great place. I guess people complain about the noise. After a night of drinking-i%26#39;m sure I will not even hear the noise.

If your into people watching and having a good time Center bar at Hard Rock is the best (younger) bar in Vegas in my opinion. Hands Down.

The Palms was a bit cheesy IMO, I do like the HRH but I agree with it being too far off the strip. I prefer to be in the middle of the action. HRH is also more of a boutique casino/hotel versus a mega resort- its much smaller so there isnt as much going on, etc. NYNY is a great place for a younger crowd, as well as MGM. Both have great restuarants, good bars/clubs etc.

i think i am going to go with ny ny. i try to stay a different place everywhere I go. Some hotels have just been ok, but by no means does it ruin my trip.-thanks for the help
