Green Valley Ranch & The Palms

Any thoughts on whether it is worth visiting these? We are out there in June and staying at the Bellagio (only there for three nights), and seeing a show one night. Thanks in advance for any input.

Green Valley Ranch %26amp; The Palms

GVR is an upscale local casino catering to middle aged locals. The rooms are above average and compare well to any on the strip. Casino is average local stuff, lots of VP.

Palms like Rio is for the young and restless who have more disposable income than they know what to do with. It is the place to be seen at if you are young, beautiful, and have implants with lots of money. However it does have a good selection of full pay VP which can make it worth the trip if VP is your thing. It also known to have lots of eye and nose candy.

we were in vegas in december and decided to visit GVR. i was not terribly impressed with it. i would not go again, especially if you are there for only 3 nights. i would rather go to fremont street again. never been to the palms but plan on seeing it in july when we go to vegas again. have a great time !!!!!!

I have only visited The Palms. I didn%26#39;t really see what was so great about it. To me it was just okay and out of the way.

Thanks all! I can%26#39;t wait to get to LV. I had heard they were out of the way, so debating whether to fit them in our short time. We watch the GVR show, so thought it might be interesting to see. Cheers!

I have visited the Palms twice, once right after it opened (and had to leave to go to bathroom because they were sooo dirty) and the second time because my sister was a Vegas Virgin and Real World fanatic. The total time of both stays together was less then an hour. If you in the area go, but do not make a special trip.

Unless you want to visit because you saw it on TV , I wouldn%26#39;t bother. Neither has anything special that you can%26#39;t get on the strip. Go to Hard Rock if you want something different.

that the reason we went to GVR, because of the show. its so small to what we thought it would be. the cocktail waitresses are very stuck up, in my opinion, but the other people we came in contact with were pleasant. if you want to see it because of the show then you should, but only for that reason. its pretty far out of the way.
