i think its called keno, someone was telling me about it, a game where you pick numbers and then if you get so many you obviously win cash, can someone explain how it works exactly to me please?

Keno is like playing the lottery.

You have about a zero percent chance of winning anything,

No. I am not telling you ';exactly'; how it works, you just pick a bunch of random numbers on a card and hope you hit them.

On the positive side, you can get free drinks (not including the obvious tips) and have a good time for relatively cheap bets.

Why you would go to Las Vegas and play that ';game'; is beyond me.

cheers mate, that clears it up, but i was told that the chances of winning were pretty reasonable, but your the expert so i will take your word for it!

i think i will just stick to blackjack and rhoulette then, give this one a miss!

how it works is , there is numbers 1 to 80 to pick from.

you pick 1 to 12 numbers,

20 numbers are called out of 80,

say if you pick 2 numbers they pay $12. on $1. bet.

this is 25% casino edge,

its slow game and not easy for casino or player to make money,

casino has to put up with chicken feed bets, employee wages,free drinks, the area keno takes up

as bad as casino edge is , your money will last longer (at $1. bets)than blackjack due to slow play of game

You can play for as little as 5 cents per game at some casinos. You pick 1-20 numbers, you have to get at least half of your numbers to win anything. You can play up to 1000 games at a time, and have a year to collect on your ticket.
