I will try to help you out. Lets start with all the Italian places on your list.

Regal, is so. Valentino is good but high dollar, Stephono%26#39;s is good. Since you mentioned Stephono%26#39;s and are willing to go downtown, go to the best Italian restaurant in town called Chicago Joe%26#39;s. It is 1/4 to 1/2 the price of the others and the food is better.

Crazy Armadillo: is an Oyster Bar with a corny/cheesy Karaoke theme. Plenty of Oyster bars in town if that does not appeal to you.

Diego is Plain Jane Mexican food. I would suggest looking for Lindo Michoacan or Don Miguels @ Orleans

Trattoria is good but very high priced and small portions. Biggest complaint I hear is still hungry after eating and thin wallets.

California Pizza Kitchen. OK if California style pizza is your thing. Just take note LV is not known for pizza.

I would highly suggest planning most of your meals at restaurants NOT located within the mega-resort-themed-mall casino buildings. Why? Because the food is usually as good or better, you don%26#39;t have to wind your wind thru a huge casino to get to your table, and prices are typically cheaper. Some really good ';locals'; type places you might consider:

Andre%26#39;s French Restaurant

Lotus of Siam

Rosemary%26#39;s

Chicago Joes

Lindo Michoacan

Thanks for your comments. We are looking for somewhere to eat late night on a sunday 11pm when we arrive - staying at the Mirage ?

Then maybe try downtown on monday night. tuesday night we are doing the heli trip to the gran canyon and will be looking for somewhere to eat after that and wednesday night we are going to see Mystere and will be looking for somewhere close by to eat.
