Trip Report: Paris Hotel

Booked our hotel and airfare 3 months in advance directly with the airlines and hotel, via Internet.

Hotel check-in at the airport was great, no line-ups. Mentioned we were in town for our 10th wedding anniversary and asked if she could give us a NICE room, I did not mention the word upgrade or view room. She looked at a map of the hotel and said she would give us a room on the 20th floor facing Caesars, which at the time did not mean much to us. I asked if she gets many requests for upgrades, she said YES and is really getting tired of people asking or flashing a $20 bill.

Upon entering our room, went directly to the window, opened our curtains and was amazed to see the Bellagio fountains. We had the best view, situated dead center of the fountains. We could lie in our beds and watch the Bellagio fountain show and listen to the music. The room was exactly like the pictures on the Paris website, nice room slightly elegant, the bathroom was nice and clean. The maids vacuumed our room everyday and gave us lots of towels, soaps and lotions (tipped $3-$5 per day)

Food at the Paris hotel was incredible:

Buffet for breakfast was amazing, we definitely recommend it.

La Criepere was incredible, if you like crepes do not miss this place.

The bakeries, deli锟斤拷锟絪 all offered good food, and wide selection of pastries/sandwiches.

Mon Ami Gabi has great food and has good patio seating, well for people watching.

Long line ups starting around 9:00 am, so go early for breakfast.

Pool

Nice, however, very busy, go early to get a seat.

Connection Card

Signed up for the Connection Card and were advised to get two separate cards to accumulate more points, ended up receiving $70 off our stay. The slots were tight; we had better luck at the Black Jack tables, where the dealers were very friendly and helpful.

We would definitely stay at this hotel again!

Sage,

Thanks for your report. We were neighbors as I stayed at the Aladdin last week and also had a view of the fountains. I thought the best feature of both hotels are their location. It was a pretty easy walk to everything. I was a bit disappointed with the construction at Caesars. I remember when it was THE place to go in Vegas. Still nice but I never even saw a Centurian or Cleopatra. Did you make it past the Flamingo and smell the awfull aroma eminating from the place? Glad you had a good time. Viva Las Vegas !!!

Great report. I%26#39;m heading to LV in 10 days.

Note to nsane - what construction are you talking about at Caesar%26#39;s? That%26#39;s where we%26#39;re staying.

Nice report. Thanks

Thanks for the report!

bctovegas:

They are constructing a new tower on the property. I wasn%26#39;t there long enough to have any idea how it affects hotel operations.

Thank you so much for your report. My husband %26amp; I are going at the end of the month and we are staying at the Paris. We have never been to Vegas and I was nervous about the hotel...I feel like it will be great now!

I love this board!

Thanks everyone.

Happy #10 Sage !

sounds like you had a good time-good room, foods, but maybe not great gambling time !

and so it goes...

thanks for your Paris report.

Thanks for the report! I%26#39;m actually heading down to vegas next month and will be also staying at Paris. I%26#39;m happy to hear that you had such a great time and that Paris was excellent! Hopefully, we have the upgrade trick will work for us when we check-in at the airport!
