cab fares

Money, A cab will cost between $10 and $20 just about anwhere you go in Vegas. No sense blasting the locals because they don%26#39;t reply to your post. If you do a TA search for cab fares you will get all sorts of information.

How much are you willing to spend?

Maybe the Bus would work better for you?

Cabs will cost............................................Money.

jimimac,i%26#39;ll let your stupid reply pass and go with the more intelligent ones.

Money.... Jimimac is only helping you out.. It%26#39;s very simple.. the cost of a cab is usually about $10 to $20 from airport to hotel, hotel to airport, strip to downtown, downtown to strip. You can never really know where the cab is taking you, they can go the long way or the short way. If you want to save you can catch the monorail to Sahara and catch a cab from there, or catching a bus.

It also depends on traffic and lights, because the meter continues to run as they sit at traffic lights. There meters are set to run on mileage and time factors. We took a cab several times while we were there and although it was not the same path you want to go, the fares ran between $10 (including tips) and about $13.

Don%26#39;t think jimimac was trying to give you a hard time, just trying to answer your question. I love the search function on this site for finding info already addressed.

If you have two people or more, the cab is the way to go. First time, we took a shuttle from the airport and it took forever. The shuttle to our hotel was $5 per person or $10. The cab was $12 and took about 20 minutes less and was no waiting and delays or hassle or people that we really did not want to have squeezed in next to us.

Cabs are the way to go.

thank you all so much for you info.appreciated.

Cab will cost about $10. And, frankly, the bus advice was really not bad. That is exacty how I would go. The CAT bus runs every 10 miniutes and cost $1.50 (seniors: $1.00). Take the No. 301 bus.

for fredm, you say to take the 301 bus,was reading some other posts where the said to take the 302 because it didn%26#39;t stop as much and was faster than the 301,can you or anyone clarify this.thanks!!!

a couple of years ago....my mil and i took a cab from airport to the orleans...took forever...bill was 27 bucks....my mil best friend met us at the cab...she saw the meter and yelled a cabbie about taking advantage and taking the long way...handed him 12 bucks and said i am reporting u she lives down the street from the orleans..guy hightailed it out of there..lol
