Critique on Las Vegas Wedding Chapel?

I%26#39;ve read through the comments on the other wedding chapel... no one has mentioned this one.

Has anyone had any particular good/bad experiences with them?

I was just about to post the same question! Their website was very intriguing, so when we went there last month I insisted on checking it out in person since the web is great at making places look better than they are. It was small but clean, and what was really impressive to us was that one of their wedding planners took us on a tour of the entire place, including some of the staff areas! The only downers so far: they apparently don%26#39;t offer DVDs of the wedding ceremony, only VHS. That%26#39;s a sticky point for those of us who are geeks. For those who are Elvis lovers: Elvis can perform at the ceremony, but can%26#39;t actually marry you.

After we left the building, I told my bf that the place really appealed to me. So he did a suprise proposal in front of the building! Now we have an emotional link to the place as well. Hopefully the actual ceremony will live up to the good impressions the staff and chapel tour left on us.

In addition to hearing from people who have gotten married at the LVWC, I would also like to hear from people who are going to marry there, and who have seen a wedding there. Or people who have just toured the place in their quest to find the chapel that is right for them. There are so many chapel choices in Vegas, it%26#39;s downright overwhelming!

Hello Again!

Right after replying to your post yesterday, I got a letter from the LVWC and they seemed to indicate that they could do DVDs of the ceremony. Why that%26#39;s not reflected on their web site, I dunno. Also, if you have your heart set on being married BY Elvis, they have a workaround. Their minister can marry you quickly before the ceremony. Then, Elvis can lead the actual ceremony. So you%26#39;ll technically already be married as you walk down the aisle but you get to have the King wow everyone at the public shindig. :)

... while I try not to go by what other people say, this is making me nervous. When it%26#39;s hard to find reviews and the ones you find (that aren%26#39;t on the chapel%26#39;s site) are bad... that%26#39;s not really a good sign, is it?
