Please advise on yummy mexican or italian resturants

Chicago Joes serves some really good family style Italian. They are located on the southern edge of downtown. Reasonably priced and NOT in a mega-resort-themed-mall casino building.

You want way expensive or not very expensive?

I have eaten at Lindo Michoacan a few times (2 out of 5 locations- not a chain but family owned) and LOVE IT! Very reasonable also.

I like Pink Taco at the Hardrock, but I%26#39;m not a kid so I%26#39;ve only been there for lunch. The whole casino makes me feel ancient if I%26#39;m there as it%26#39;s starting to get dark!

Ditto on the Lindo Michoacan - YUM!!

I meant not way expensive. Sorry wrote that this morning when I was really tired. Any other suggestions. We will be in Vegas next week and have had no luck with places to eat the other times we have been there.

Buca De Bepo%26#39;s across from Terrible%26#39;s on Flamingo for Italian.

Sorry hit the wrong key ;-)

Picasso%26#39;s or Le Cirque at Bellagio (both are 5 star rated) ... Italian - San Lorenzo%26#39;s at Texas Station or Al Dente at Bally%26#39;s....Garduno%26#39;s for Mexican (several locations in town)or Isla Mexican Kitchen at TI.

Thanks all!

At Mandalay Bay they have a nice restaurant called Border Grill (mexican). You can sit outside and dine near the pool area, which is really nice on a warm evening.

Chicago Joes for Italian, and Lindo Michoacan are the best in town and less expensive than the strip joints. Nothing fancy about them but miles above in food quality.
