My husband and I visited Las Vegas in December 2003 and stayed at MGM. I am not into gambling so I toured and seen a lot of Vegas. My husband on the other hand plays black jack, craps and poker and by the time we left he had lost somewhere in the ball park of 5000.00 in 3 days. When we got home my parents informed us we should have had a players card. We didnt know anything about this. Anyways we are planning a return trip and this time we will get a players card just wanted some more info. on them. Are they worth it? If we get a players card at MGM only the money we gamble at MGM will be on their or is their other casinos we can use the same card at? Is it true you can pay for your room with your players card? Any other info. would be appreciated. I%26#39;m a newbie.
MGM Player's card
Sure, sign up for a players card - with losing that much you might get some comps. I am not sure if they credit poker play - maybe someone else here knows.
MGM players card website:
https://www.playersclub.com/Default.asp
Its good at MGM , Mirage, TI, Bellagio and New Yory New York in LV.
I dont think you can charge anything to it though.
MGM Player's card
If your losing $5000.00 at MGM, you should have a card. You will be comp something for spending that amount of cash, whether it be buffets or a free room. You can use the MGM card at several locations including Mirage, TI, MGM, Belliago, NY NY toward comps. The card is definately worth it, it can only help you..
You can%26#39;t pay for your room with your players card. The casino tracks your losses with this card. They may comp you a free meal, cash, credit toward your stay, etc. if they see that you have played a lot.
Get the card!!! It doesn%26#39;t cost you anything and you%26#39;ll see the benefits in comps, invitations to special events and special room rates.
