Casion Royale

My 30 year old son and his posse made a last minute decision to go to Vegas. All they could get reasonably on the strip was the Casion Royale. Any comments on the property would be greatly appreciated. They are blacljack players so I am wondering if their are low limit tables. There is something called switch card?

Casion Royale

Never stayed there, but location is pretty central. I did roll dice there once a couple years back, and at the time, they were running a $3 dice game, so I would imagine you can easily find $5 BJ there.

Last time I was at CR, I didn%26#39;t see any actual blackjack. It was all blackjack switch or Spanish 21. I%26#39;ve since been told that there is regular blackjack there, but I couldn%26#39;t find it. I don%26#39;t know the HA on blackjack switch or how to play it. Spanish 21 is supposed to have a low HA, but I don%26#39;t know the strategy so I don%26#39;t play it. Shackleford%26#39;s site www.wizardofodds.com has a strategy section on Spanish 21, he may have one on blackjack switch also.

Casino Royale has a lot of low limit tables.

I stayed there once in 2001, rooms were pretty large %26amp; very clean. From what I%26#39;ve heard all the bj tables are now ';switch';, I think you get 2 hads %26amp; try to make the best of what you%26#39;ve got (that%26#39;s how I understood it when it was explained to me) but I%26#39;ve yet to hear from anyone who%26#39;s done well at them.

Blackjack used to be fairly good there but has proceded downhill. Last time I was there most games had become the bane of all BJ the dreaded 6-5 payout. Craps still has 100 X odds but that doesn%26#39;t help if they are looking for low stakes.

The IP next door still has normal payout BJ in some pits but not all and $5 shoes are available.

Tell them to switch to playing craps, they%26#39;ll do a lot better with that

i have played at CR many times ..lots of fun....bet on the slots..MIL played blackjack ...My friend has stayed at the hotel...she said it was a big room and they keep it clean..and it is cheap...good location..close to Harrahs, venetian and TI....your son and his posse will be fine.

My husband and I are 30 and we love playing at the CR. We%26#39;ve never stayed there, but had a lot of fun playing blackjack there. They have a ton of $5 limit tables, so it%26#39;s great for someone on a budget. It%26#39;s a fairly young, rowdy crowd, so they should have a great time. It is mainly a low payout, but still fun to play. Also, try next door at the Imperial Palace. They also have low limit tables and the payout is better.

Good location. Small Casino. I was there a few weeks back ( always have to stop there ) as I recall they had one table each Single or Double deck BJ, Spanish 21 and Switch. Never enough tables for the BJ players there. Craps there is fun and $2 table, Cheap Roulette also. $1 beers and cheap drinks, good service at the tables for drinks. They have a Denny%26#39;s , Subway and Outback located in the building.

I cant seem to go past without stopping in for a drink at least and a little time playing.

They might also want to try O%26#39;Sheas and Barbary Coast for cheaper tables ( $5 ) also both are real close on the same side of the street.

Have them all sign up for the players club and get the coupons and specials.

Slots and VP seem real tight to me - especially for such a low roller place.
